It was a weird week of football for the NFL, prefaced with a secretive “Marv Harrison has been traded, but, um, as for the details, well, you see…” …then we moved on to a complete debacle at the end of the Giants-Commanders OT game… …before ending the week on a bonkers roller-coaster ride between Buffalo … More 2026 Week Five Recap

All of us have been watching football for decades now. Seems like we should have seen and heard just about everything that could possibly go down on the field, but no, Week Four saw not one… …but TWO… …referees lose their flippin’ minds during their games, causing them to be suspended for their conduct. Where … More 2026 Week Four Recap

I gotta admit, I was tempted to break my newsletter streak and mail this one in. As I type this, my stepdaughter, son-in-law, and 1.5-year-old grandson are on their way back to Kansas after visiting us for a few days. As you get older, you forget how much damned work a toddler is. That would … More 2026 Week Three Recap

Another week, another bevy of injuries. The volume is incredible this season, and even worse, many are happening right at the starts of games. This week we had players like Barkley, Reed, and Dart go out almost immediately, leaving glaring holes in starting lineups. It’s bad enough in season-long games, but doing DFS and guillotines … More 2026 Week Two Recap

Hello, and welcome back for our EIGHTH season of The Terrible Ten. How the hell has so much time passed?! Then again, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Seems like every year I lament the number of injuries in the league, and this year’s no exception. It started in the preseason … More 2026 Week One Recap

Man. Just…man. Fantasy football has to be one of the least forgiving games out there. Everyone in The Terrible Ten knows about heartbreak — a multi-INT game from a typically steady QB; a defense that locks down an otherwise potent offense; an injury that leaves a doughnut in your starting lineup; being a top scorer … More 2025 Round Three Recap

A lot on the line this past week, so let’s get right to it, shall we? It goes without saying that no one wanted to see Puff’s Punishers win the Toilet Bowl. With the exception of setting a weekly lineup and a rare appearance in the chat (usually to chirp at Redman), Puffy is not … More 2025 Round Two Recap

Oh, how a once-mighty league has fallen. Gone are the halcyon days of weekly podcasts by Rubberband Man and FF Walrus, or newsletters by our fearless leader, Dark Side Scotty. These days, Scotty’s overseas walking with elephants (I shit you not) while Brent and Alex are doing their best Married with Children imitation: Which brings … More TSN 2025 Round Two Recap

I turned 49 years old this year. It’s so weird to see that number used to describe my age. Mentally, it feels like I should be heading off to high school when the alarm goes off in the morning. Physically? Well, that’s a different story. Most days I feel like I’m 149 years old with … More 2025 Round One Recap
