Truth be told, I wasn’t sure I’d write a newsletter this week. I managed to catch a nasty cough/cold/fever over the weekend, and with it being so close to my MS infusion a few weeks back, I still lack an immune system to fight this crap off. Suddenly a run-of-the-mill bug turns into Ebola. Then … More 2025 Week Three Recap

After a relatively quiet first week to the season, Week Two brought the pain. We saw some injuries on TNF with Reed and Ekeler getting dinged (the latter is out for the season), but Sunday was brutal: Fields was concussed, we found out Jayden Daniels has a bum knee, a pair of Vikes are out … More 2025 Week Two Recap

Annnnnnnnnd, we’re back. Not sure about the rest of you fellas, but damn, did that offseason go fast or what?! Feels like only yesterday Redman owned my ass in the Terrible Ten Super Bowl (which I still haven’t gotten a nameplate for, because fuck that guy AND my third 2nd-place finish in six years). Anyway, … More 2025 Week One Recap

This past week or so was kind of a catch-22: on one hand, it sucked to be off the grid with a phone that shit the bed, keeping me from joining the chat during The Terrible Ten championship; on the other hand, there may not be a more lopsided loss in all of FF history, … More 2024 Round Three Recap

And suddenly, Round Two is over and I’m scrambling to write a newsletter on Christmas Eve morning before the festivities begin. Feels like the perfect week to skip my duty to the league, but there’s a lot to go over and I’ve made it through the whole year for once, so it’s time to set … More 2024 Round Two Recap

For those who don’t know me outside of being commish to the best damned fantasy football league going, I’ve been a computer programmer at the same healthcare organization for over 25 years. These days I work in finance, helping provide data and reports to decision-makers while trying to make sure I get the math right … More 2024 Round One Recap

And just like that… Making it through fourteen weeks of fantasy football has felt a little like Frodo carrying the ring to Mordor. With injuries and poor play and benchings around every corner, it’s been a long road to get to this point. But, as always, the cream has a way of rising to the … More 2024 Week Fourteen Recap

It all starts with a little hope. Some teams likely have more than others, but everyone has at least a little bit, no matter how bad previous seasons have gone. A lucky bounce here, a flukey Hail Mary there, maybe a rookie that over-performs, or an injury that takes out a star player while simultaneously … More 2024 Week Thirteen Recap

You’d never know it, but we’re on the precipice of celebrating a holiday this week. I mean, it’s easy to forget about Thanksgiving because stores sell us candy and costumes for Halloween, and then at 12:01AM on 11/1, they’re tearing that stuff down to get ready for Christmas. Hell, Thanksgiving is so late this year … More 2024 Week Twelve Recap
