What a weird week of football! Nearly half of the league’s quarterbacks — 14, to be exact — threw for less than 200 yards. Some of them were still able to put up big days thanks to rushing yards and TDs, but the majority sunk their FF owners with low scores, which in turn led … More 2020 Week Six Recap

More games being moved/canceled due to coronavirus. Additional injuries to big-name players. Atlanta cleaning house at the highest levels (and intimating that Matt Ryan and Julio Jones might be on the way out too). Leveon Bell being outright cut. Adam Gase still having a job?! I ask you… It’s for this reason I’m proud of … More 2020 Week Five Recap

Before we begin, a moment of raucous guitar riffs from the legendary Eddie Van Halen. It’s sad to lose such a maestro, but as Scotty of the Evil Empire said to me, “Dude crammed about 200 years worth of living into his 65 years.” Indeed, he did. Back to fantasy football, it looked like I … More 2020 Week Four Recap

Phew. This has been a *brutal* week already. No, I’m not talking about continued injuries to players like Godwin and Goedert, or the possibility of rescheduled games due to the league’s first run-in with Covid. Rather, I’ve got a wifey and two kiddos who are down-and-out with coughs and colds. The Gatorade has been flowing … More 2020 Week Three Recap

While it appears our extra roster spot and expanded IR slots will go to good use this season, it’s got nothing to do with Covid-19 to this point. To QB, or not to QB: that is the question. Past experience in redraft tells you To wait, be patient, don’t you see? There is value in waiting for players Like Jameis and Trubisky. Thy picking’s done, the dust settled, And you’re about to gloat over text, But cold sweat breaketh out when you realize: … More To QB or Not to QB: A Poem

I gotta tell you, fellas: I didn’t think I’d be writing any recaps this season (if only you could be so lucky, amiright?!). With as quickly as the spring and summer sports closed up shop, coupled with Covid numbers continuing to rise, I figured football was dead in the water. I mean, seriously, how could … More 2020 Week One Recap

May 1, 2020 Day Fifty-Something of Quarantine My video therapist tells me to start with the positives, so, let’s see here. Um. Oh! During homeschooling I used my empty beer cans to help the kids count by twelves. That was a hit. And, uh, I finally have a new pair of boxers on (never mind … More Greetings from the Bunker

My humble apologies for the lengthy delay in sending out an end-of-season newsletter, fellas. On top of having a houseful of kiddos for two weeks over Christmas and New Year’s, my grandma passed away on 12/29 and I’ve been knee-deep in my own work and medical stuff. That all sounds poopy, but in all honesty, … More 2019 Week Sixteen Recap

And then there were two… I’d like to tell you our semifinal matchups were tense, edge-of-your-seat thrillers, but that wasn’t the case this year. I guess we should have known what was on the agenda once Lamar Jackson went full ham on TNF football, throwing for 5 TDs and giving the Growler Prowlers a 37+ … More 2019 Week Fifteen Recap
