You’d never know it, but we’re on the precipice of celebrating a holiday this week. I mean, it’s easy to forget about Thanksgiving because stores sell us candy and costumes for Halloween, and then at 12:01AM on 11/1, they’re tearing that stuff down to get ready for Christmas. Hell, Thanksgiving is so late this year … More 2024 Week Twelve Recap

Today I’m harkening back to my 9th grade English class, taught by the fierce Mrs. Radetzke. She took no shit from us kids, and had a glare that would put Judge Judy to shame. I remember the daily drills on things like spelling, grammar, and punctuation. It’s likely where I learned about the many uses … More 2024 Week Eleven Recap

During the course of the six seasons we’ve played in The Terrible Ten, it’s not very often the week has been completely decided by the close of SNF. Now, I know what you’re thinking: there’s a possibility Tua gets 43 (nah) or Waddle gets 28 (possible, albeit unlikely) on MNF, but fuck it, I’m gonna … More 2024 Week Ten Recap

Well, damn. Week Nine of the NFL season will be remembered for a long time to come, highlighted by plays that became instant classics. From Garrett Wilson’s one-handed TD grab:… …to Saquon’s backwards hurdle… …it was a weekend to gather highlights for the Espy Awards. Then again, it wasn’t all good. Derek Carr threw a … More 2024 Week Nine Recap

I was all excited to jump into the newsletter this week when I heard that Sunday, October 27th, 2024 was National Tight Ends Day. I mean, who could blame me for getting a little wound up?! And so, I went looking for those sweet apple bottoms and pumpkin booties, only to find out it’s a … More 2024 Week Eight Recap

Week Five saw me bumble through a newsletter with some serious writer’s block, followed by a Week Six newsletter that I couldn’t get to fast enough. The desire to (try to) roast those AI podcasters was strong, and I felt like I was on fire. Sadly, the pendulum has swung back the other way this … More 2024 Week Seven Recap

What a difference a week makes! Before I begin, I should give credit where credit is due: it was Science Walrus’ idea of feeding last week’s newsletter into an AI app to generate a podcast that has my fingers itching to write! I mean, hearing AI immediately gravitate toward the slow-motion titties in last week’s … More 2024 Week Six Recap

So, it’s about 5am on Wednesday, October 9. By now I’d usually have the first half of the newsletter written (a couple times I’d already be finished and have the damned thing posted), but I’m just now starting. Not sure what’s going on this week, but words are failing me. Maybe it’s that I’ve gone … More 2024 Week Five Recap

One of the more cliched things in our society is creating and nursing a bad habit over a long period of time, then trying to change that habit overnight on New Year’s Day. Diet and exercise are likely tops on the list of resolutions, but they usually fizzle out after a week or two. I’m … More 2024 Week Four Recap

Not sure about you fellas, but after three weeks this is already starting to feel like a grind. Star players are on IR for lengthy periods of time, or are completely missing the boat points-wise in favor of other lesser-known teammates. I haven’t felt this bruised and battered since the Super Bowl in TT’s second … More 2024 Week Three Recap
