My apologies for the lengthy delay in writing the final newsletter of the 2021 season. Part of me wanted to write it as soon as possible and get it over with; the other part of me wanted to delay felating the winner as long as possible. Not knowing what to do, I froze. It was … More 2021 Round Three Recap

Normally I like to start these newsletters with a bit of an introduction before diving into the scores. *sniffle* Usually there’s something *snort* newsworthy in the NFL that I *snifflesniffle* can use as a segue to the Terrible Ten scores. *snotsuck* But this week I…I… My apologies. Not sure what came over me there. After … More 2021 Round Two Recap

I thought I’d open with a question, directed squarely at Round One of the playoffs: Thank God and Sonny Jesus I had a bye this week in Terrible Ten and had been eliminated from contention in my other leagues, because I can’t imagine how stressful it was to watch those games and *need* points from … More 2021 Round One Recap

Now THAT, my friends, was a helluva way to close out the 2021 regular season of The Terrible Ten! I don’t think I’ve ever been part of a final week that had so much up for grabs: not only both Week-One byes, but also all six available playoff slots for eight of the ten teams … More 2021 Week Fourteen Recap

It’s around this time of year — regardless of how I’m doing in my leagues — that I wonder why the hell I play this game. You can do everything right along the way and still be an awful team (e.g. my redraft league in which I selected Kamara, Gibson, Ridley, AJ Brown, Metcalf, two … More 2021 Week Thirteen Recap

Thanks again for your patience with me in Week Eleven. I hate missing newsletters after you guys battle in the trenches all week — how else can I build you back up without my uplifting words of encouragement?! — but I got hit with a helluva bug. Here we are almost a week and a … More 2021 Week Twelve Recap

Well, I truly hate to short you guys (and The World) on one of my prize-winning newsletters, but this has been a week. I came down with a bug that’s been kicking my ass since late Sunday and it just keeps getting progressively worse. Went and got a ‘rona test earlier today. As if that … More 2021 Week Eleven (Non) Recap

Last week we endured one of the biggest point droughts I’ve ever seen in fantasy football, and Week Ten wasn’t much better. The quarterback position seemed to be the biggest disappointment, with McCoy, White, Ryan, Wilson, Stafford, Brissett, and Wentz all scoring less points combined than Patrick Mahomes (which I think proves KC’s star QB … More 2021 Week Ten Recap

That’s our fantasy scores, grandpa. Sweet Jesus, that was brutal. The byes weren’t even the killers this week. The rash of injuries across the league certainly didn’t help matters, but even that can be written off as “Situation: Normal” for this time of the season. What happened to Josh Allen and the Bills? Joe Burrow … More 2021 Week Nine Recap

A belated Happy Halloween to you and yours. I should have mentioned it in the last newsletter, but the holiday kind of snuck up on me this year. Anyone have any epic costumes? I know Scotty of the Evil Empire went as Coach Beard from Ted Lasso (characters from that show and from Squid Game … More 2021 Week Eight Recap
