While the playoff picture has started to come a little more into focus, it’s still going to be a wild finish to the season. Here’s what we know so far: Puff’s Punishers has sealed up a first-round bye. Congrats on the excellent season, Josh! May you one-and-done your semifinal playoff game, ya bastard.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, unless Buzzystinger unleashes an offensive surge the last two weeks, he’s locked up the first pick in each round of next summer’s rookie draft. Congrats on the atrocious season, Bryon!

After that it gets a little hazy. Other playoff locks are myself, Scott Palmquist’s Growler Prowlers, and Alex’s Wiz-not-Whiz, all of whom are still jockeying for the second bye. Then we have a whole host of teams fighting for the final two playoff spots. Brent’s Science Walrus would seem to have one of the spots locked up, but technically everyone but Buzzy is still in the hunt. How much fun is that?! Can’t wait to see who breaks away from the pack.

On to the games…
Week 11 was yet another wild week of fantasy football. Lamar Jackson proved to be a star again, not only leading the Ravens to a complete thrashing of the Houston Texans, but also continuing to propel the Growler Prowlers up the standings. This week’s victim was Ted’s Analrapists, who prematurely shot his wad on this dry run of a dynasty season, leaving him with quite a mess on his hands as 2019 comes to a close.

None of this week’s matchups was particularly close, but in a week of laughers, the Great Scottsmen’s 132.64 – 82.98 destruction of The Wiz was the biggest tummy-tickler of all. The win, coupled with the huge point total, breathes life into the Evil Empire’s chances of nabbing the final playoff spot. Can Scott superpower his way back into relevancy?

This weeks’s pillow fight was an 88.46 – 70.72 victory for Puff’s Punishers over Brent’s Science Walrus. Not sure what happened here. No one made any boneheaded plays by leaving huge points on the bench. Just a bunch of stars who all had yawners for games. The easy win cemented a bye for Josh, whereas the loss left Brent exposed (a position he loves, weirdo that he is).

If only Redman could play Bryon every week, amiright? The 102.64 – 69.54 victory leaves the playoff door ever-so-slightly open, but hey, at least there’s a chance. Cody’s excitement is probably a little over-the-top, but if he can have fun for another week or two, why pop his balloon?

And last, yours truly put on another fantasy football clinic with a 134.14 – 115.10 deflation of ZaWood. The loss came at a horrible time for Zach, as two of the teams fighting for that final playoff spot won their matchups. As for me, I’ve all but sealed up a first-round bye at The League’s expense. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Best of luck in Week Twelve, fellas!
