The year was 2021. Fresh off back-to-back losses in the first two Terrible Ten championships, I (laughably) hoped the third time would be the charm for my squad. A month into the 2021 season I went looking for vets to add some depth to my squad. Lo and behold, I swung a deal with Packer … More 2024 Week One Recap

Hey, guys. Commish here. I zonked out early last night, woke up this morning, and what did I see? A newsletter from none other than Urban Achievers! While I’ve been in the fetal position since getting dumped in Round One, someone is still very much in midseason form. Enjoy Red’s post-playoff look at the league … More The Future Is Bright, J/K

All the off-season trades (you’re welcome for Najee, Alex). All the draft-day jockeying (thank you for taking Young over Stroud, Zach). All the preseason and in-season injuries. All the Pukas and Kyrens coming out of nowhere, or the Jeffersons and Higginses who didn’t deliver. All of it is now over. But what a final week … More 2023 Round Three Recap

In a fantasy football season that’s been full of nonstop roster chaos, Round Two was easily the most ho-hum week of the year. We’ll start with the least important matchup of the week, which saw Growler Prowler destroy my hapless QB Farm Team, 124.46 – 95.08. Blah blah injuries blah blah hard to field a lineup blah blah one and done blah blah FAAB blah blah cream rises to the top blah blah Super Bowl blah blah blah. For the first time ever in The Terrible Ten, the four worst teams had something to play for while the good teams jockey … More 2023 Round One Recap

Roughly three months have passed since the start of the 2023 fantasy football season, which will henceforth be referred to as The Year of the Cat. For you Minnesota people, this is in no way a reference to The Common Man and his yearly desire to see the roar restored for his Detroit Lions. No, … More 2023 Week Fourteen Recap

Dell. Charbonnet. Stevenson. Henry. Pickett. Brian Robinson. Hollywood. Cooper. Lawrence. And the injury list keeps going. Honest to god, it was like a damned M*A*S*H* unit under the blue tent this week. This has been a very tricky season of fantasy football, with some of us unable to navigate the choppy waters: While others found … More 2023 Week Thirteen Recap

Well, I’ve seen most of you in the league chat, so I assume everyone survived their Thanksgiving holiday. Me? Oh, I’m just over here working my way through the leftovers. Love me some mashed potatoes and corn and stuffing and dinner rolls and a juicy turkey leg to gnaw on and… I see while I … More 2023 Week Twelve Recap

Gonna hit the pause button on fantasy football for a moment to talk about Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday of the year. Yes, part of it is the buffet of amazing food for a fat bastard like myself, but it’s more than that. I’m perhaps the least philosophical person on the planet, but for one day … More 2023 Week Eleven Recap

Ten weeks into a truly bonkers fantasy football season, and everything is finally starting to clear up. The studs are running away with it, the duds have assumed their position at the bottom of the heap, and the playoff bracket is essentially set it stone. While I’m guessing it’s a bit of a mid-season anomaly, … More 2023 Week Ten Recap
