For a game that seems pretty straightforward — a bunch of guys run/pass/catch the football and you get points for their efforts — it’s crazy how many wrinkles get thrown our way. I just wrapped up my 17th season of fantasy football, and it seems like I see something new every year. I’m not talking … More 2022 Super Bowl Recap

I hope you all had a happy holiday season! Mine was busier than usual. On top of all the Christmas festivities, I received a call from Commissioner Goodell this past weekend. It appears there’s a thief in our midst, and he was looking for some help from his other commissioners. And so I bring this … More 2022 Round Two Recap

I don’t recall a more tumultuous week of football from both an NFL and fantasy perspective. Multiple games were decided in OT, the Vikes completed the greatest comeback in NFL history, and the Patriots completely shit the bed on the final play of regulation. No matter how many times I see it unravel, I still … More 2022 Round One Recap

*Man* did that season go by quickly! One moment you’re drafting rookies and your team is all shiny and new; the next moment you’re writing the last full newsletter of the season. It would take something pretty effin’ awful to keep me away from the dinner table when turkey, potatoes, stuffing, corn, dinner rolls, and pie are … More 2022 Week Twelve Recap

Each year I hope I’ll make it through the newsletters without missing any, and each year it seems like I have one week when… My MS crap started flaring up a few weeks ago, so I got some IV treatments setup late last week. While they helped take away some of the issues I was … More 2022 Week Eleven (Pseudo) Recap

So, this week I need a little help from my leaguemates. I’ve been trying to figure out how this many points are possible… When a QB only throws for this many yards each week? Oh, wait. I think I found the answer when I scrolled to the right and looked at…rushing yards and TDs?! Now, … More 2022 Week Ten Recap

This week I’m going to bypass the regularly scheduled introduction to talk about the record-setting weekend enjoyed by Evil Empire. Some of you likely don’t think a former champ needs any more ego-stroking. Me? I’m fair to middling at my job, so I’ll assume the position and build up The World’s Greatest Boss any chance … More 2022 Week Nine Recap
