My apologies for the two weeks of radio silence, fellas. I hated to put the newsletters on the back burner, but it had to be done. Can’t say these remaining newsletters will be very funny (if they ever were), but it’s playoff time, baby! Can’t let these weeks slip by without building up our postseason…and … More 2019 Week Fourteen Recap

While the playoff picture has started to come a little more into focus, it’s still going to be a wild finish to the season. Here’s what we know so far: Puff’s Punishers has sealed up a first-round bye. Congrats on the excellent season, Josh! May you one-and-done your semifinal playoff game, ya bastard. On the … More 2019 Week Eleven Recap

Hard to believe we’re already done with ten weeks of the regular season. Seems like only yesterday that Brent and I were scrambling to throw together this league, yet here we are on the cusp of our first postseason. Thanks so much for jumping into this league on such short notice. I’m hopeful that everyone … More 2019 Week Ten Recap

Sorry, fellas, but it’s been a pretty crappy week of symptoms for me. I’m saving my typing for the Great Scottsmen. After all, he’s pays to let my fingers do the walking. (Then again, kicking his ass later tonight should pay off next month when I take home the inaugural Terrible Ten trophy, so there’s … More 2019 Week Nine Recap

This week I was prepared to do my best Karl Malone imitation and mail this in, but quite possibly the only thing that could drag my arse to the keyboard has actually happened. Bryon popped his cherry. Not only that, he took on the Great Scottsmen and showed that bitch who’s boss, crushing Osterloh by … More 2019 Week Eight Recap

Damn.  Not sure I’ve ever seen a stranger week than that.  I suppose the injury to Patrick Mahomes should have been the clue that this would be an ominous week.  Injuries to stars such as Adam Thielen, Kerryon Johnson, Saquon Barkley, and more set the tone for a week in which scoring was all over … More 2019 Week Seven Recap

I wanna say this is my 13th season playing fantasy football, partaking in a few leagues per year on average. You can’t play this game that long without picking up some stories along the way — championships won, heartbreaking defeats, studs that played like duds, finding diamonds in the rough, etc. Regaling each other with … More My Funniest Fantasy Football Moment

Three of you fellas – Ted and The Two Scotts – have been in leagues I’ve commissioned before. They already know what I’m about to tell the rest of you: I like writing these newsletters. A lot. I have no idea if you guys enjoy them or not, but it’s fair to say I’m my … More 2019 Week Six Recap

Sweeeeeet Jesus, what a week for fantasy football. I heard it was a record-setter, marking the first time five players went for over 40 points in a single week, and there were plenty more nipping at their heels with a bunch of 30+ point games. If you didn’t have at least one of the big … More 2019 Week Five Recap

Honest to God, is there an easier game to play than fantasy football?! I mean only a dolt wouldn’t foresee the Browns going on the road and destroying the Ravens. And seriously, is there anyone out there who didn’t know the Bucs and Rams would score almost 100 total points, and that Tampa Bay would … More 2019 Week Four Recap
